SAINT ÉMILION & POMEROL
From Cellars to Castles
The regions of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol located on the right bank of Bordeaux, are renowned for producing some of the most sought-after wines in the world, characterized by their richness, complexity, and elegance.
Saint-Émilion is known for its diverse terroir, which includes a mix of limestone, clay and gravel soils, creating ideal conditions for the cultivation of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The region´s undulating landscape and proximity to the Dordogne River contribute to a moderate climate that ensures the grapes ripen evenly, resulting in wines that are full-bodied, with deep fruit flavors and earthy, floral notes.

Uncover Bordeaux’s Most Prestigious Wines
Just to the southwest, Pomerol is a smaller, more compact region, where the clay rich soils dominate. These soils, combined with gravel and iron deposits, create wines of extraordinary depth and velvety texture.
Pomerol´s wines are typically dominated by Merlot grape, which thrives in the region´s soil, producing wines that are lush, with ripe fruit profiles, silky tannins and a distinctive richness. Both regions, though distinct in their expressions, offer wines that reflect the harmonious balance of their unique terroirs, combining power, finesse and a remarkable ability to age.
